Wiring harness organizer spring clips M38
I am installing the wire harness on my M38 and I am trying to find the exact location for the Douglas shells spring clip organizers. Any help will be appreciated.

Take a look at Wes' photo pages as well as the Ord 9 G740,
and operations and maintenance manuals.
I have found very few if any holes drilled into the tub or frame that weren't meant to have things bolted or screwed into them. If you have everything else
installed per factory you should only have holes left for mounting clips for brake, fuel, vacuum and electrical.
Take care,
and operations and maintenance manuals.

4x4M38. Thank you! but I cannot find pictures of what I am looking for. What I need to know is, where do the Douglas shell connectors clip to at the parts where the harness connects to another harness so that they are not hanging lose. For example where the front headlight harness meets the main harness, or the tail lights assembly shells if the have clips for those in the back and also the one for the trailer connector assembly. I have the organizer clips. I just don't know the exact location of where the go because the wiring that the jeep had was not original and without the Douglas connectors. i would like to see a picture so I know. I would imagine they do not hang lose as they will be hitting the body and scratching. Thank you again.

My Dodge M37 had a lot of the Douglass connector storage racks or clips but the M38 I have seen very few. There is the clip on the instrument cluster but there are no storage racks for the grill to main harness connectors and I don't recall any storage rack at the left rear corner of the tub for the trailer harness either.
My photo album has photos of most of the harness routing:

This is the clip on the early M38 instrument cluster.

Here you can see the Douglass connectors for the left side of the grill connection are free hanging.

Same here.

There are three storage clips in each headlight bucket.

There is a wiring clip just back of the front harness/headlight wiring harness
connection.
This photo in Wes' photo pages under "body" has all of the left fender holes
marked:

There is a photo or two of the rear left wiring. I'll keep looking. If I remember
correctly there is a clip for the rear harness before it ties into the trailer connector. I don't remember if the trailer harness has a clip also.
Take care,
connection.

Brian, I was trying to keep from confusing the issue but looks I need to clarify the original post again. We are not discussing wiring harness frame clips. We are discussing stowage clips for the Douglas connectors.
Here is what they look like on the M37. The M38/M38A1 only have a few smaller ones.
