A recent article by Rob Siegel got me thinking. The article was titled "for any road trip long or short, don't leave home without these essential tools".
For short trips I haven't found anything I can't fix on the jeep without just a ratcheting box end wrench set and a gerber multi tool. And I always keep a few zip ties and some bailing wire in there as well. For long trips I've thrown in everything from the multimeter, to the torque wrench and flaring kit.
And so, how do you pack that tool box under the passenger seat?

haven't driven my m38 100 miles in a straight line in a long time. its well maintained so I don't load it up with tools. just a basic bag but what I do carry is a set of wheel bearings , a couple u joints and the most important a spare coil.
