M38A1 wiring harness used in a M38?

Can a M38a1 wiring harness be used in a M38? Has anyone here done this?

Matt,

If you google "Willys M Jeeps M38A1 wiring harness in M38" you can review the several times this has already been discussed here on m Jeeps.

The differences are very minor between M38A1 and late M38. A wee bit more complicated on the early M38 with circuit breakers and two plug light switches.
