They can be tough to find.
The 1957 TM 9-2016 was replaced by TM 9-1005-245-14 which covers organizational and field/depot maint & parts in Oct 63 which was revised Feb 73. This one I have. I'll email you a link to it. its 170 pages or so. The Army further revised the TM 9-2005-245-14 in 1994 to TM 9-1005-245-13 & P which dropped most of the 1945 thru 1970 mounts.

The TB ORD 465 gives you enough info to build your own version of the M31A1 mount. It is in my photo album along with the ORD 8 for the same mounts.

Thanks Wes!
I don't want to build one, I have an original M31C. The MWO details how to mod it and install it in an M38 (which are what I have).
I know a couple of the points in it, but I want the complete thing.
1) Enlarge seat clearance in passenger rear brace all the way to the top of the brace.
2) Remove rivets and data plate. Stamp "M31A1" into pedestal.

I assumed from the get go that you had an M31 or M31C and wished to modify it to make it an M31A1. I did that many years ago using the references I just gave you. I do not recall anything tough about it. It went quite smoothly as I recall. I don't have it anymore so I can't help with photo details of changes but if you carefully disect the available data the modification will not be very difficult.I don't want to build one, I have an original M31C.
