Keeping coil on M38

Had to replace the coil on my M38. It is not yet fully restored, at this time the windsheld is not on. All the vent lines are installed but without the wipers connected I was wondering if I need to plug off that line to get enough air flow through the distributor to keep the coil cool.[/b]

Yes, also to keep enough vaccume to keep it running...
