M170 litter rack question .
M170 litter rack dimensions .
My M170 has very few fittings still in place . Over the winter I would like to try to fabricate the floor channels which form the lower litter rack . Can any of you kindly good folk take some dimensions I could work from please ? Or can you point me to an existing post on The Forum where they might already exist . Many Thanks , in advance .

Hi Davie,
It's easy to search this forum.
If you use the "search" button directly above (in between the "Forum FAQ" and "Usergroups" buttons) and enter "M170 litter" to search on "all terms" you'll get 18 hits of older posts in this forum that may be helpful:

You can also try various other search terms.
Good luck!

M170 floor litter racks
Greetings Davie,
I am in the process of restoring my 1954 M170 front line ambulance. The M170 is 98% complete and I have a set of original bottom floor litter racks. Would be happy to provide you with photos and dimensions for the bottom racks.
Please feel free to email me at:
jsteber1944@mail.com
The only item that my M170 does not have is the top litter racks which I am in the process of reseraching and plan on fabricating.
All the best!

Still hoping to get dimensions to fabricate the floor mount litter rack as the previous offers were not fulfilled .
I lost a large part of last year to illness and the jeep broke down just as I was becoming immobile so I'm only just getting back to fixing it - fuel pump leaking into the block mostly - but I'd really like to get the rack made and fitted before our show season get going again on this side of the Atlantic .
Pictures and dimensions would be really helpful : length , width and depth of channel , gauge of metal . position of the mounts etc . TIA .

When you get Keith's blueprints for the ambulance parts make sure you share them here on the site.
