More movie fun.
Just watched the Gregory Peck McArthur movie.
Much fun pointing out to the wife the M38 specific items on the jeeps in the pre-Korea sequences…
The cowl battery box was very obvious in a couple of scenes.
She was not amused.

My dad drove landing crafts in the Pacific and his best friend drove the one where MacArther was filmed returning to the Philapeans .It was filmed twice because the first time MacArther was in such a hurry he steped of the end of the ramp into water up to his neck.He had to go back to the ship to change clothes.
