Light Switch contacts

Hi I had a intermittent problem with my light switch it's a jos.pollak no.ar7
when I took it apart the contacts fell out and I did not see where the three contact point contacts went . Does anybody know where they go?

I haven't seen many of the Jos. Pollack switches. Can you email me or post some photos? How does the internals compare to the parts manual illustration?

In Canadian service we had the Jos Pollack switches in both 12 and 24 volt rated switches. Personally I did not like them. The internal breaker was mounted on nylon/plastic material and would heat up enough to melt the contacts out of position.

Does the CDN parts manual offer an illustrated parts list for this switch? Our US M38 ORD 9 only gives the illustrated parts breakdown for the two early Bendix switches.

These photos you sent me seem to have the contacts in what appears to be the correct location.

Thanks Wes I drew a diagram of the contact points and metered out all the pins and put the switch back together the way I have it in the photo and I seems to work fine now.

The Canadian CV32 Rev July 1957 only shows the breakdown for the bendix switches for the M38 and A1

Though come to think of it the 71 M38A1 CDN3 I had. I believe came with a Jos Pollak switch.

The Jos Pollack switches I remember were replacement switches from the late seventies and through the 80s. They were made to be disposable, so there was no parts breakdown for the switch.
