fuel pump to carb line

This may be a duplicate post. sorry in advance if it is.

I'm plumming the fuel pump to carb in my M38.
Did the original design have a problem with vapor lock?
Should it be routed further from the exhaust manifold?

Recommendations?

Yes it did. TB 9-804-6 repositions the tube further from the exh manifold. I wouldn't think you would have a problem with the stock location in the northeast.
