Can i use the 4HN battery in my M38?

I have a NOS 4HN battery. It is 24 volt. Would it be possible to make this work for my m38? If so,what would have to be done? I got this idea out of an old MV magazine.Thanks.Shawn

Although physically almost the exact same size they are electrically rated differently. I am guessing they would not do well up north. If you want to try one just use the underhood box and connect the long cable to the starter instead of the cowl battery box.
