Numbrs off my M-170

Do these numbers sound right? From the engine block MD 8982 from the Willys Overland plate off the right rear fender MDA 11875. Also where can I go to find out more about this M-170 Jeep?

Looks like you are missing the first or last digit of the engine serial number. Should be at least 5 digits.

Thanks for the info after some more paint scraping I came up with this number MD 89824.
