Perhaps you have a family member or friend with a digital camera who could photograph your finished product and the dimensions we would want are the outer dimensions (away from the bezel) so one can better approximate the thicknesses and heights needed. The inner dimensions that match the gauge are as you said a given. New ideas and problem solutions are great and are much easier to share when they are illustrated.

Wesk Does your offer still stand....I got a new....well new to me.....digital camera with cables to hook it to a computer at the second hand store....I took some pics of the dies along with the finished gauge (before I painted the bezel) so you all can see how well it works.
