The original factory art work and manual illustrations clearly show that cushion to be way too short. I wonder if Dave is assuming the WWII MB/GPW are the same as the M38/M38A1? They are not. The M38/M38A1 rear seat is over an inch wider. And your new cushion is an inch too narrow!

I asked him if there was a possibility that I got an MB one - he said they were just made. Of course, that doesn't rule out that maybe he used the wrong pattern. When I was taking pics to send to him I noticed that, in my overhead shot, the front of the cushion is about 1/4" wider on each side than the part touching the metal.
