Does anyone know why the they shaped the M100 trailer that way? Narrow at the bottom and wide at the top?
Thanks

Easy to load? Wouldn't make sense the to have it the other way around.

Once the sidewalls rise over the fenders, the top can expand for more cargo room yet still remain within the width of the wheels.

The sides are actually straight vertical and the same width all the way up. It simply has a turned out cuff at the top that is slanted slightly upwards. This cuff helps direct what you are tossing into the trailer more directly into the box. When the box is overstuffed this cuff helps the excess remain in the box. The WWII version (MBT, T3 & etc) and the civilian T3C also had this cuff installed at the top of the box sides.
