As the title says is there a torque setting, for the body to chassis bolts, had a look in a few manuals and cannot seem to find any info.
Mind you the eyesight is going so that could be a factor.
If there are settings can someone point me in the right direction for the manual please.
Regards

Hi Nic,
Reading page 52 of the TM9-1804B 45. Install body....
...install the four bolts, lock washers, and nuts securing the body to frame rear cross member, noting that shims are in place.
It does not show a torque specification.
Nothing here:

Might check the Universal Jeep manual if you can find it. I think it's here on-line.
Take care,

When you have to fasten a bolt or nut and you find there is no special torque listed in the instructions you are suppose to look up the torque in the standard torque charts. If you don,t have them you can go to my photo album and download them. You simply use the size and thread pitch then select the correct torque based on the type of fastener action required. i.e. Tension or shear application. Tension torques are usually higher. Most standard torque charts also require knowing the grade of the bolt, stud or nut.
