different cylinder heads

Post by c90001 »

I bought an unused cylinder head, but I'm not sure if it from the m38 or by an industrial motor. Does anyone know the significance of the number?

The picture host that you're using, file-upload.net, also places intrusive ads from onclasrv.ml or onclasrv.com onto everyone's viewer so my security has blocked it. You need to find a better picture host if you want people to be able to view your pictures.

These are WWII heads.

Image
Most common Willys heads for the L134.

Larger view is here: http://willysmjeeps.com/v2/modules/gall ... risons.jpg

The industrial L134 engine head is casting number 807763 and is the same 6:48 compression ratio as the M38's 800376 head.

Sorry but the first time it is not so easy to show the picture. I dont know
how i get the Picture in this reply .
This ist not working or i make somthing wrong?

Img = Used to insert an image in your post. Click on Img and a bracketed [ img ] appears then right click on your photo and select
"Copy image URL" then paste that image right after the bracketed img. Then click the Img above agian and another bracketed [ /img ] will appear.
Note that when using Internet Explorer the the drop down menu you get when you right click on the photo you want to use does include "Copy image URL" instead the choice you must use is "Properties" then you copy and paste the "Address (URL) " after the first [ img ].

I have the picture now in the Gallery but i can n ot show here.

Frank,

You cannot add your photo to this post by copying the entire page URL from the top line of your browser. I inserted the correct URL for your photo between the two "Image" http://willysmjeeps.com/v2/modules/gall ... .sized.jpg and it works. You must right click on the photo in your album and then left click "Copy image address" the paste that URL between the "Image".

If I'm looking at the right photos it looks like an M38 head.
