M38; after sitting for 39 years

I'm in the process of restoring my M38. I bought it from a state run surplus site when I was 16, drove it for 10 years, and placed it in covered storage when transferred to Okinawa in 1978. I've pulled the body off and disassembled. Removed the engine & transmission/transfer from the frame. And currently disassembling the engine to send the block and crank to the machine shop for cleaning, inspection and machine work as required. Turning flywheel and new clutch is a given.
The jeep was working perfectly when I placed it in storage. What work would you expect I'll need to do to the transmission, transfer, and differential? Is it possible that after replacing wheel bearings, seals, gaskets and gear oil, they'll perform as they did when I stopped operating the vehicle? Wondering?
