Paint additives

I've purchased lusterless winter green paint from Rapcoparts. Anyone know the ratio of hardener and thinner to be applied. Not listed on the can of paint. I'm using an Earlex HV5500 Spray Station. Thanks

4:1 is a pretty good starting point for most paints. I dont know this product though. But speaking to the painter at my work, 4:1 is what most paints use. My urethane primer uses this ratio and recommends 4:1:1 for thinning the paint

Wouldn't the best answer come from Mark at Rapco? In general most common paints are air dry enamels that do not benefit from any kind of hardener. Dilution for spraying is best judged from practicing with your spray system so you don't get runs.

One thing a hardener will do is add gloss to your paint... On my M-38CDN I painted it USAF Strata Blue and added hardener to the mix at 8:1 ratio (Thinned paint to hardener). It gave my paint a semi gloss finish instead of the flat like the regular paint should have been...
This is something to consider...
I have found that the Gilespie Paint that Rapco sells is a very good paint and once dried does very well on its own...
My 2 Cents worth...
