A good hook type seal puller will work. You can also drive two sheet metal screws into it on opposite sides and then use them to pull on to remove the seal.

You can remove the rear extension and push the seal out with a press, or find a small slide hammer "L" or hook that fits between the shaft and seal and reaches behind. Be careful you don't break the ledge the seals stops against. Work one side until it moves and then go opposite. Back and forth. G503 (Ron F.) has double lipped seals and also correct double wall seals. Good gasket sets too. I was very happy with them.

Have you read the Novak or Willys Tech D18 rebuild guides? Both start with remove the rear bearing case then drive the seal out.

If you must try removing the seal without removing the parking brake plate and rear bearing housing then here are some tool choices.

I believe Moses Ludel describes the same method.
