I just pulled my wheel off, but wanted to get some information. I have looked around and all the threads due with this subject, the pics no long show, or info is little weird.
I have two Sheller wheels. One is black with a raised middle all around outer wheel, and has serial under sheller name in back. Other is a lite brown, smooth, and only has sheller on back. The black one is one came off my m38a1. Both of these wheels are dmged, are these repairable or just too big of cracks ? I know you can jb weld smaller ones. And last but not least my research showed OD being correct wheel color, but what about on 64's ? They had different changes i know. Tried to find wes steering wheel pictures, but no luck, dead links.
Did just find this, and it looks like my black wheel :http://willysmjeeps.com/v2/modules/gall ... 2&id=013_G
First picture is both, my jeeps on the left. 2nd picture is of dmg on the light brown one (i know it looks green). Last 3rd is black back with some its damage, i know not great and can't read lettering.

They are steel underneath. If solid, they just need repair.

JB Weld, and/or epoxy/Bondo.

Just make sure they are clean before you start and rough up what you can.

I believe the earliest style had fingergrips all around but not sure.

Take care,

That's not a bad deal Wes, depending on how much epoxy
you get. You can blow through 12 bucks in a hurry buying
JB Weld in the blister packs.
