Long term storage.

So I recently found out I'm having to go overseas for at least two years for my job. Of course I'll need to place the M38 in "storage". Anyway as I get ready to do that just wanted to see what I should do to get her ready for a long sleep. She'll be in a climate controlled garage while I'm away and I plan to put her up on jack stands.

Looking at some other posts seen these items...anything else I should do?

-Oil Change / Trans Fluids and other fluids
-Drain fuel/blow out fuel lines
-Remove batteries
-Fog engine
-Plug Exhaust Pipe / Cover Intake
-Moth Balls or Drier Sheets

Thanks in advance...

Draining the fuel is a good idea but flood the fuel pump and carb with a preservative oil. Don't leave them bone dry.

Disconnect batteries and remove them. Place them on acid proof pads and connect battery maintainers to them. Not trickle chargers, use maintainers.

Up on jack stands to protect the tires, block between the frame and the axles to preserve the springs?
