Angle finder

Post by Bobber »

Family member had a 1952 M38 in the sixties. She said it had an angle finder thing on the dash area that helped determine the angle you were at and what angle not to exceed. Is there a technical name to this? Was it military?
Thanks

Google or search eBay for tilt meter or inclinometer.
