If it does need adjusting it is a fairly easy process. I outlined how I did it a while back- http://www.willysmjeeps.com/v2/modules. ... pic&t=9388.
Remember, do not remove the cover from the regulator while the batteries are hooked up!

Use the proper technical publication and follow it precisely.
TM 9-8627 dated June 1953. will cover the Delco Remy regulator and the Delco generator. For the Delco generator you can also use TM 9-2920-214-35
http://www.willysmjeeps.com/v2/modules. ... it&lid=152

I don't have TM 9-8627 loaded on the downloads page but I do have the civilian Delco service instructions loaded there at:
http://willysmjeeps.com/downloads/Delco.reg.pdf

You can find additional info here: http://willysmjeeps.com/downloads/24%20 ... esting.pdf

Also I am sure Kendall meant to say "DO NOT REMOVE OR INSTALL THE REGULATOR COVER WHILE THE BATTERIES ARE CONNECTED TO THE REGULATOR"
24 Volt is a terrific fire starter when you make an accidental short circuit.

Try the M38A1 NEKAF web sites in Europe. If you do send the work to them be sure to send the regulator and the generator since they will need the actual generator you intend to mate to your regulator. If you only send your regulator you will have to finish the finer adjustments on your jeep.
