Intake Pushrods off center

F134 Engine, took valve cover off to adjust intake valves, saw two rods wobbling a bit. Ordered two new ones, one from two different sources. The old ones are 1/8 inch in diameter, the new ones 3/16".
The worst bent one replaced perfectly but the other one (#1 cyl) is now rubbing the side due to its wider width. The old one came close to the edge when running but didn't rub. Any possible reason for a rod being off center in the hole? Should I just go back to the old one since it is only very slightly bent? This is all new to me so hoping some of you have seen this before!

Lifters loose in bores.

Rockers arms mis-aligned. This can be caused by very worn rocker bushings allowing the rocker arm to tilt. Excessive lifter bore wear can result in the lifter's shifting position having a compound effect here.

There are early WO# 648791 pushrods and later 804622 pushrods. I believe the increase in diameter was with the newer pushrod.
