oil pressure gauge
Everything is new, gauge, wiring ,sending unit. when you turn on ignition switch the gauge is pegged all the way to max. any hints on what to look for. thanks jim.

Check all the common sense things first.
1-All grounds good.
2-correct parts (60 PSI oil press gage with 60 psi sender and 120 with 120.)
3-Remember new parts does not always = correctly working parts.

Oil Pressure Gage
Sounds like you have something grounded out somewhere. If I remember right; if you ground the sending unit wire to the body with 24V into the correct side of the gage it will peg all the way over. But use the trouble shooting guide.....going through the steps will tell you where the problem is
