T90 Shift Fork Pins

Post by ScottS »

Finishing a T90 rebuild and noticed a huge amount of movement in my shift fork pins before disassembly. Has anyone had good luck with hardened steel roll pins? The Spirol coiled pins look promising, just hoping someone’s tried them? Trying to find something high quality, no Chineseium etc. the stakes are rather high for failure! Thanks!

You might look. It might be the forks wallowed out instead of pin wear.

In any case I would think if you want something to wear it would be the pin.

I don’t think I’d use anything harder than what the forks are made of.

Just my two cents.
