thanks for adding me. probly won't be asking to many questions[except for dumb questions].looks like most will be answersed in other post. I've got a 1953 m38a1 rust bucket that I'm trying to get ready for deer season. gonna keep it ugly

Let me give you a piece of valuable free advice anyway; before you do anything, get a complete set of TMs, including the SNL, and study them every day for 6 months. Get a copy of the Jeep Universal manual too.
Then you can touch your jeep.
