Fellas,
I am looking for a barney style instruction on how to properly tie down my new tarp. I would prefer a video if its out there...Tango in advance.

First off you are not going to be able to get it tight enough to keep it from sagging. Each hole should have its own rope, 18" to 24" long. With that said, you start by looping the ropes around the hooks twice then use a simple half hitch to tie your knots, (makes it easy to untie and the loops help get it tight). Now center the tarp as best as you can, tie the front center, then the rear center. Now move to to the sides center to center, this should get you fairly close to center. Now fold the corners with hospital corners and pull the rope over the corner and tie. I do same ends of trailer at a time, then finish with the other end. This is the method I use and get a fairly tight tarp. If you want it really tight, then you will need to add a set of bows to the trailer, an owner mod , there are a couple of ways to do it, use PVC pipe and make a frame with the bows up a bit over the sides or like I did. I went on line to a boat supply and bought the cups that are used on wooden boats to put bows on them, then went to Lowe's and bought a couple of oak 2" slats 4 feet long. I cut them down to just long enough to fit in the trailer with a bow. then sanded the ends down to fit in the cups. Put the cups on the inside rails (where the tubing is) and there you have a set of bows... Hope this helps... I will see if I have a photo of my assembly...
These are what I use to put bows on my trailer, 2 sets each set 2 ft from the end of the trailer. (Measure 2 ft from inside of front, then 2 ft from inside of rear) I am using the photo, buy from where ever you can get them...
