Fuel tank text

Hi guys
One of my friends with a M38A1 with the same origin from Saudi Arabia as mine, took out the fuel tank a couple of days ago. He found the following text in yellow colour on the underside of the fuel tank:

2910 - 040 - 2506
TANK
1 EA. A - 10/64
DA - 20 - 113 - AMC - 03275 - T

Is there any more information given in this text, besides that it was manufactured by AMC in October 1964?

Erik messaged me yesterday on this topic.

2910 - 040 - 2506 Federal Stock Number which if modified to 2910-00-040-2506 would become the Nato Stock Number.
TANK
1 EA. A - 10/64 Date tank was manufactured.
DA - 20 - 113 - AMC - 03275 - T Dept of the US Army contract with AMC for production of this part.

Correction: AMC in the contract # represents Army Material Command.

AMC in producer represents American Motor's Corp after 1970 and should have read Kaiser jeep 1957-1971.

Erik informed me that he got information from you regarding his serial number and year of manufacture, but not regarding the text on the fuel tank.

My intention is to contact Saudi Embassy here in Sweden in the spring time, to see if we can get more info regarding these jeeps in service and perhaps get a photo when they were doing duty.
