Hello:

I'm toying with the idea of eventually floating my M38 CDN around and would like to know what you use to float yours with. Please attach pictures if you have them.

I'm toying with the idea of converting a hardtop trailer , but don't know if the undercarriage would be strong enough. Also if I can get away with a single axle versus a tandem.

Let me know what you think.

Thanks

I don't understand the use of the term "floating" as used with M38. Must be a Canadian expression. I think you are describing the US expression "Trailering" so if that is a correct assumption then I would go with a dual axle trailer rated around 4500 pounds and at least 8 feet wide by 15 feet long. A single 3500 pound axle will work but they behave badly when they get a flat tire when loaded. The covered trailers are available with strong enough floors to handle 2000 pounds spread out over 4 tires.
