I opened the tap on the cylinder head for heating, but even after closing it flows, is it possible to disassemble and reseal it?In my gallery photo no.36
Did I not find the thread size of this cock in the manual for possible blinding of the hole in the head, or to blind only the inside of the cock?
Thanks for the advice

Hi Václav,
By "blinding" do you mean "plug"?
Is the question: if you want to remove the petcock and plug the hole in the head, what size pipe plug would you use?
According to page 27 in the ORD9 manual, it's a square-headed, 3/8-18NPT pipe plug, commonly available at most U.S. hardware stores.

Hi Ron D2!
Thank you for the advice, please have a link to the manual ORD 9, I do not see it in the download section, I only have ORD SNL G-740
With us, your screws are difficult to access, we have a metric system, they are only in special stores
Designation 18NPT is thread pitch?

Václav,
I think you have the correct ORD9 SNL G740 (September 1955), but here is the link
http://willysmjeeps.com/downloads/M38-Parts.pdf
Yes, the size is 3/8-inch and the thread pitch (per inch is) 18, National Pipe Thread (NPT). Definitely NOT metric.
If you can't find one, I'd be glad to mail you one. They cost maybe $2 U.S. at most. Not sure how much cost to mail. Might be expensive.
Good luck!

Thanks, if it can't be resealed, I'll buy this plug and blind the hole.

Václav,
By continues to flow are you describing flow thru the attached hose, flow around the base threads in the head or flow around the top of the valve at the winged screw?

Flow around the top of the valve at the winged screw.
Today I will disassemble the valve and try to seal it.

It stopped flowing self-resolved.

Who the $&% installed it there ?!

And the cock was closed, the hose was clogged and the plug in the tube ...

Away with it!
