24 volt distributor timing

Ok, I got myself turned around (no pun).

On the 1952 (Late) M38CDN.

Number One wire is it at the 5 O'Clock position on the distributor?

depends. 0500 or 1700 depending on if you're working on it early or late.. :lol:

Late model engine with geared cam... so CW on crankshaft, CCW on cam, CCW distributor....
