Is the air/fuel mixture jet replaceable in the YS carb? Can a new adjustment screw and jet be obtained?

Hi Ken the air fuel mixture screw adjusts the mixture at idle. It is one of the new parts that come with the kit from MWM. The jet is just a small hole in the carb body that the tapered end of the screw fits it should be clear and undamaged for proper operation. hope this helps.

Thanks Mike, what if the hole is damaged, can It be fixed? I dont' know if it is for sure though. But I imagine I could at least use a new screw. Just seems to me if the screw tapper was distorted then surely the hole must be enlarged.

This is one of those days when a detailed digital pic is worth a thousand words.

Wes, What do you want a photo of, the mixture adjustment screw? I don't believe I can fulfill your request on a photo of the hole that it goes in.

Ken,
A photo of the damage you are describing. It sounded like you were describing either stripped threads or seat damage but it wasn't very clear in your text.
You'd be surprised what a little patience, some no glare lighting and experimentation can produce in a detailed photo. Here's the YS950S idle needle.

Hello Ken,
If you can't find a new one just machine that one to the same angle but she'll be overall a tad shorter which won't really hurt anything. Just keep the length of the cone from widest point to tip at .155.
