I have been trying for months to secure some tops bows for my M170. Been looking for NOS, used, repros, half-destroyed, everything. Tried to find drawings of them to help me fab up my own. No avail.

Therefore, I will try and develop my own based on photos of others and reference points on the truck to approximate sizes.

If anyone has a shot of their M170 with the bows on and canvas off, that would be appreciated. Especially one straight from the rear. I am using the brackets that hold the rear bows as my point of reference to approximate all sizes.

You may want to visit with Dave Pizzoferrato at "We Be Webbing" since he makes tops and restored a M170.

I actually did contact Dave for that exact reason. He gave me a couple of names of guys that built some really sweet repro bows and were selling them through G503.

Unfortunately, they are all gone and the guys don't plan on making any new ones. They were going for somewhere in the $400 range if I recall rightly.

Definitely saving my dimes for one of Dave's M170 tops. Beautiful work indeed.
