m38 engine smokes

i have not done nothing to this engine when i got jeep no smoke run great good oil pressure. i have been using 20w50 oil.i change the oil to 30w now when i rev engine it smoke blue smoke any suggestions on this

Do a compression check with dry bores and if low add oil to bores and retest. If significant improvement occurs then your rings are very worn and if she didn't smoke on 20W50 then go back to 20W50.

thank for the advice i went back 20w50 an it dont smoke any more
