CJ2A to MB Conversion

I have an MB that my late uncle gave me. Unfortunately, only certain parts were salvagable. The engine is good but the T-84 transmission is shot. The chassis is rotted and too much welding was done to the front to add a very heavy snowplow. I saved all of the guages, the horn, steering and pedals and the front grill and lights are in good condition. The body and pretty much everything else is gone. I bought a whole mess of CJ2A parts, including a fairly good chassis and axels with hubs. I also got a good T-90 transmission and hood and fenders.
I really want to get an MB body because of the look (gas tank, glove compartment, rearseat, etc. I learned that I need to move the top shock absorber towers and two of the outrigger body connecterson the chassis. I also know that I need to cut larger holes in the floor for the T-90 transmission because it is longer and higher. A fellow named T. Thomas Carson wrote up conversion instructions that included these modifications and several others.
Does anybody have experience with a conversion like this and any advice?
