Hey,
I could be wrong, but that braket looks like a buba add on.
Both would be correct (minus that add on bracket), and have the flywheel timing hole for the early engine/ starter/ flywheel, the one on the right appears to bethe best one. I can't say for the bell housing since they are covered up.
Wes might know.

Engine plates
Ryan,
I had two of those engine plates with that bracket attached. I think it's a factory bracket. I'll probably go with the green one but i'd sure like to know what the other one goes to and what the extra bracket is for. I sold the other one for $30 at Papago. I have a feeling that it's for the MB/GPW.

Yep, that's Mb and bracket is for the engine stay cable.
