Price help

Post by RickC »

Looking at a M100 trailer. Not sure what to offer. Has a nicely done tailgate. A frame and lunette bracket cut off to put a ball hitch on. Now wiring or lights. Floor looks solid and has original wheels/tires.
Thanks guys!!

I would not go much over $600 - 700...

Tailgate needs to be fixed and finding a lunette casting is gonna be hard to do...

My 2C worth...

Does it have all the brake parts, floor drains, data plates?

Without the above start at $200 with high of $400. If it has the above items start at $300 with a high of $600.

It had the handbrake. didn't notice about the drains. Biggest thing that I see is I need to track down the entire lunette/leg assemble and try to find a new drawbar.

Maybe I'll just stick with teh one I have but sure would be nice to have those wheels and tires......

Jon over on Jeepdraw has the drawings for the "A" frame rails... I got them and went to a local sheet metal shop and they made me a set for under $100. I had to do the welding and drilling, but with his drawing it was really easy.

The only thing was the drawing shows a a trianglular shape on the outer rail and it needs to be a semicircle... was easy enough to correct...

Hope this helps...
