wheels and the 1/8th" hole

found some wheels (my m170 was short 3)

these were mounted on an m720 dolly (the one meant for an s280 shelter)
3 of the 4 have the 1/8" hole the other does not, but It appears identical w/ the exception of being welded instead of riveted.

If the rim width is 4.5" then they are late 50's thru the 60's replacement wheels. If the rim width is 5.0" then they are Willys pick-up truck.

Note, rim width is measured at the inside of the bead retainers.

did the pickup wheels have the small hole?

Yes, which is why you will have to remove the tire to get an accurate measurement of the rim width.
