Shape/ Appearance:
Reproduction by Midwest Military was an extremely close duplicate to the OEM box. Also comes with the correct trays also reproduced by MWM.

Fit/Function
Good.

Summary:
This is a great part for a good price. MWM pays attention to detail and provides a good battery box.

NOTE: They also make a replacement cowl box and battery tray that are also excellent.

I agree with your rating. MWM battery boxes are I believe one of their top sellers. I have one in my M38 and bought later an original on ebay and I can tell you that their repro is excellent in function and detail. The price didn´t seem wrong considering the quality you get.
