Barn fresh parts question
Greetings, I have located a dozen engines, transfer cases and transmissions in a barn loft. I wish to purchase them for resale, but first need they're potential value, so as not to be caught with scrap iron instead. All 1960 and older. Thanks, experts. fish_49202@yahoo.com

Block/ head casting numbers would be needed at the least.
Photos and description of these parts is also a must.
Depending on what condition these parts are in and if there are no cracks or other non-repariable problems.
If you are looking for top dollar resale, you would need to have the engines dissasembled, cleaned and inspected by a professional shop in order to tell if the cranks have been turned before or if the cylinder bores are oversize or if there are any cracks that need fixed or not fixable.
Buying an engine or parts that have been sitting around is like "a box of chocolates". You don't know what you are getting into for sure.
