M38 flywheel & bellhousing

Thank you for all the info and the quick response. After reading your replys I think I do have the correct bellhousing. It has a 2 hole inspection cover both of the starter mount holes are threaded 3/8 it also has a reinforcing rib in the casting just below the starter mount and the pilot hole for the starter is there. So you beleive this is the correct bellhousing and will accomedate the 124 tooth flywheel? I checked my 24v starter and it is the MBP4301UT with 9 teeth. Will I also be able to use my current flywheel and just replace the ring gear? Thanks for the other info about the other parts needed to convert the motor, I do also have the m38 head which will also convert over, I think. and one other thing that needs changing is the front engine mount plate that is bent the other way in order to fit the fuel/vac pump. Unless someone knows of an differant solution. The flywheel download was exactly what I spent 4 hours searhing for on the net and could never find. One more thing what was the correct fuel/vac pump for this? The reason I'm asking all this is that I meet a guy near me with lots of military vehicle parts and I need to know what I'm looking at and when possible get the correct parts. Yes you are correct my '51 m38 is a september jeep. does this make it an early m38?
Thanks again
