The blue looks good. Neat looking dolly, did you make it?
My father would love the Ford P/u in the background. He has a '41 V-8 sedan he is currently restoring.

The Dolly, is made of electrical cable ladder, my friend made it up the night before...

It worked great just the right height to paint the inside and outside and with the casters move the sides around to be in the sun to see spots we might have missed...

Awesome Hal! What paintgun did you end up getting anyway?
2:1?? I've seen figures like this by lots of people - but I paint all of my stuff with 90% paint, 10% xylene ratio. Whats the advantage of 2:1 that makes it so popular?

I hope to be that far along by the end of the month.

I only bought the paint and thinner, the friend had the compressor and gun. As for mixing the paint I just followed the recommended proceedures that AJP has on their website and what the hardener instructions recommended.

And the reason it is Blue; is I an retired USAF (20yrs, 8 days). You can take the boy out of the Air Force, but you can't take the Air Force out of the boy... If there was some one that could positively ID RCAF markings, then I would go that direction, but the folks north of the border have no idea, at least the ones I have contacted... So it will become a USAF M-38 CDN...

Markings will be Insignia Yellow,

U. S. AIR FORCE
52K1313
For Official Use Only

Along with T.P. and such...

We will go with that for now...

Hey Hal!

What has really impressed me, apart from the nike looks of the Jeep, is that HUGE chunk of land you have!!!

Man, I live in an apartment, and I'm just DYING to get a house with a big yard...

BTW, here's a couple of pics of my Jeep, in progress

Just so everyone is aware, the painting and photos was not done at my house (I WISH!!!); but at my friends house. The kids and lady in the photos are his family. I live in a small suburb / independent town inside Oklahoma City (Del CIty), and so painting was out of the question at my house. He had the compressor and spray gun. He offered his assistance and I gave him a few bucks...

Tub will be finished mounting tomorrow and I will start the wiring, harness and such...

Photos to follow...
