Who do you use to insure your M38A1?

I was thinking about going through progressive because i have my other vehicles insured with them but I am not sure if they will insure a vehicle from 1952.

Also about how much are your insurance payments?

We use J.C. Taylor out of Pennsylvania. GEICO just
laughed (all my other vehicles, except the 1948 Ford
8N are insured with them). There was an article not
too long ago in Military Vehicles magazine on various
insurers, and there are advertisements in it for antique
vehicle insuance. Get a copy.

I like the $86 annual insurance fee from J.C. Taylor on
our M38.

My insurance agent suggest Haggerty. They are antique/classic auto specialists. It was easy to sign up with them. My policy was about $180 per year for my 1952 M38A1, which I valued at $16,000.

I went through USAA. They have it outsourced to a firm that specializes in antique autos. I got a good deal, about $175 a year.

Both my M-38 CDN and M-100 are thru Statefarm

I have not shopped lately, but I use Grundy Insurance, they specialize in antique autos.

I just insured my 1962 M37 with State Farm for $15.72 a month for full coverage including glass and towing.

Same here. I believe the company is American Collectors.

American Collectors is who I got through USAA. Your choices will also depend on your state and what companies operate in your state (are allowed in MA's case).

I think I need to shop around, I am being charged over $230 a year just for liability. only problem is I dont have a garage so a lot of collector insurances wont touch it.

Maybe I will look into another insurance company for all my rigs and save me a little money that can be spent on the m38. On an off topic note she will be finished this weekend, and will be at Weare Next weekend. i will take pics.

I use American Collectors (USAA's company as mentioned above) - 1-800-620-5521. Just got my renewal today for my M38. $80.00 for one year with a 2,500 mile driving cap (you can increase this to 5,000 or 7,500 miles for more $) based on the vehicle value, deductables and coverage that I chose. Called USAA to see if I could do better directly through them and comparable coverage was going to be $250 a year. I understand that Taylor is good but for $80 I'll stay where I am...

I cant go through USAA, not a vet, and no one in my family was.
