Plate on Glovebox door

What plate would have been mounted on the glove box door of an m38? I have four holes drilled and tapped in mine, takes up just about the whole door, rectangle in shape.

I have a 1951 m38 restored and on the glove box has the descripition of the radio ( AN/MRC-60 ) radio set NAVY DEPT. the plate is approx. 4"x3" it is original just like the rest...e-mail me if you want a picture...
