Does anybody know the dimensions or have a pic of the piece of tin that bolts in to the rear wheel well on the drivers side of an M38? I guess it is a protector for the wiring around the tail lights? Mine is all cut up.
Thanks Reddog

There are some pics in the Photo Gallery and repro's are also available from DeBella's Jeeps, Midwest Military, Army Jeep Parts (where I got mine), and some other places.
But I don't have access to my jeep right now to give you dimensions. However, look for the screw bolt holes and you get a sense of just how wide/long it is. It's just there to keep the majority of the mud, dirt, muck, gravel, whatever from hitting the wiring for the trailer and lights. Wes K is your best resource on this site for any specific answers. Good luck!

Hi...my M38CDN was missing this also when I got it...I used the cover from an old discarded microwave oven and bent the metal in a metal brake, braze welding in the corners...works as good as the original, and free best of all!!...Wilf
