My '67 A1 back on all 4

Post by mcafee »

Made a fair bit of progress over the last few months. Axles rebuilt, engine tuned, all new brakes, body job, paint, new seats covers. etc. Still have lots of little things to do, needs new top bows, need to redo the tail lights as have the screws are broke off in the housings....

Anyways, less words more pics....
Still need to put the CFR number and other markings on her too.

From dumb and dumber on the tube last week, "I like her - I like her a lot". Where did you get the seat covers and padding?

53A1 - I got the covers from Willys Acres, he is fairly local to where I am. I made the cushions out of foam I got from an upholstery shop. Was a little time consuming, but I think they look ok.

Hey, I checked today, the tires are Goodyear Workhorse, in a 750 x 16. I am still planning on going to a NDCC 700 x 16, these were the tires that came on it. I will say though, these tires are some much better in the wet and snow than the NDTs on my CJ3B.
