M38a1 Air Cleaner

Hello: Was the M38A1 (1952) Air cleaner black or olive green when the jeeps left willy's factory?
Hi bl5211a,
the Air cleaner is black and the pre cleaner is olive so it can be used at the end of the snorkel of the fording kit outside.
