M38A1 steering box

Morning all,
What is the lenth of the oil seal tube assy. in the lower section of the gear box? Bubba made mine disappear.My intent is to braze or epoxy a piece of 1/4" brake line to the remaining oil seal.I'm told this part is no longer avail.
