MASTER DISCONECT

Hi fellas, I'm curious here, my m38 has the foot start as it should. Some one originaly took out the on /off switch on the dash and replaced it with a key that absolutely does nothing. What i did is took a napa brand master disconnect swith and changed the lever on it to look as if it had the old style jeep switch lever on it. When i hook this switch up is there anyway to make it kill the engine as well as the power from the battery? right now i have to kill the engine by stalling it (ie.. 3rd gear foot on brake let out on clutch slowly) Any guidance is greatly appreciated here.
